In the SS17 Cruise Collection, Furla has injected its urban, contemporary style with a dose of natural exoticism. This marks the beginning of a journey, an imaginary safari toward southern climes, and the tribes living there, where the Furla woman will discover her roots.

The journey begins with the colors that define the collection: three chromatic families, like three landscapes to be crossed along the way. Soft, neutral sandy hues contrast with vibrant blues and greens with earthy undertones – evoking desert oases, lush forests and spice markets – while brilliant reds and metallics call to mind all the opulence of A Thousand and One Nights. The joy and excitement of travel are palpable in all of the collection’s accessories, thanks to Furla’s hallmark craftsmanship, which combines the finest leatherwork and artisanal weaving techniques. In the bags, this means ethnic prints and vintage-inspired camouflage, as well as intricate leather-on-leather work and recurring touches of fringe, or the refined ornaments made of studs that decorates the new Amazzone bag, a small yet precious treasure chest. Furla’s elegant and roomy Aurora bag, with its a lengthy strap and sturdy handles, is now available in a fine leather variation that stands out for its sophisticated mix of detailed stitching, and ornate eyelets and straps.

Covered in studs and embellished with a fine strand of leather, these elements create a beautiful, circular geometric design in delicate black, white and neutral tones. For its iconic Metropolis bag Furla creates a shiny and stunning décor, made of floral micro-prints, glitter camouflage and a micro-leopard print in metallic colors such bright red. In keeping with the collection’s exotic, adventurous spirit, new little bears dressed in cordura camouflage print have joined Furla’s playful line of Lady Blogger charms with enameled metal details – perfect for decorating any of the collection’s handbags.
