Anna Wintour, Amanda Seyfried and Martha Stewart Gather for Tory Burch
Tory Burch Brings Together Fashion’s Most Influential Women for the Founders Breakfast 2026
In New York, few mornings carry the same level of influence, elegance and cultural relevance as the Tory Burch Foundation Founders Breakfast.
Hosted on April 30, 2026, the second annual edition of the event brought together some of the most powerful women across fashion, media, business and entertainment to celebrate female entrepreneurship and the growing impact of women-led businesses. But beyond the impeccably dressed guests and polished Manhattan atmosphere, the morning carried a much deeper purpose.
This year, the Tory Burch Foundation announced that its Fellows generated an extraordinary $470 million in economic impact last year alone – a major step toward the Foundation’s ambitious goal of unlocking $1 billion in economic power through women entrepreneurs by 2030.
And naturally, the guest list reflected that same spirit of modern female influence.
Tory Burch’s Vision of Contemporary Power Dressing
Honored during the breakfast, Anna Wintour arrived in signature commanding elegance wearing a custom Tory Burch red floral silk twill dress paired with a navy leather coat – a look balancing authority with the refined femininity that defines the Tory Burch aesthetic today.
Amanda Seyfried embraced a more layered and textural silhouette, wearing Look 16 from the Fall/Winter collection: an embroidered wool cardigan and matching embroidered vest styled with a low-slung leather skirt, finished with the Bunny Knot shoulder bag and Pierced pumps. The result felt intellectual, modern and quietly luxurious.
Meanwhile, Martha Stewart brought her unmistakable sophistication to the event in a printed silk ensemble paired with metallic platform sandals, proving once again that personal style has nothing to do with age and everything to do with confidence.
Phoebe Gates opted for a younger interpretation of polished dressing in a silk polo cardigan and embellished cotton pants, reflecting the evolving dialogue between classic American elegance and a new generation of entrepreneurial women.
Throughout the room, Tory Burch’s designs moved effortlessly between power dressing and ease – structured without rigidity, feminine without cliché.

Fashion with Purpose
What makes the Founders Breakfast particularly compelling is its ability to merge fashion with meaningful economic conversation without ever feeling performative.
In an industry often criticized for superficiality, the Tory Burch Foundation continues to position itself as one of the rare initiatives genuinely investing in women-led businesses and long-term entrepreneurial growth. The breakfast itself has quickly become more than a society event or fashion gathering. It represents a modern network of female ambition, creativity and financial empowerment.
And perhaps that is why the atmosphere surrounding the event feels so relevant right now.
The new era of luxury is increasingly driven by purpose, substance and community. Tory Burch understands this evolution instinctively – creating spaces where fashion, influence and entrepreneurship intersect naturally.
Because today, true power dressing is not only about what women wear.
It is about what they build.
