Paris Fashion Week Welcomes a New Voice: LATAM Fashion Circle
LATAM Fashion Circle Paris Brings Latin American Creativity to the Heart of Fashion Week
Paris may be the capital of fashion, but fashion itself has never belonged to one place.
In 2026, a new initiative is set to amplify voices that have long shaped global style yet often remain underrepresented on the Parisian stage. LATAM Fashion Circle Paris (LFC) arrives with a clear mission: to create a permanent platform dedicated to Latin American fashion during Paris Fashion Week.
Founded by fashion consultant and curator Dan Silva, the project was born from a simple observation. While Latin American culture – from music to gastronomy and cinema – has achieved worldwide influence, its fashion designers rarely receive the same visibility during the world’s most important fashion events.
LATAM Fashion Circle Paris intends to change that.
A New Platform for Latin American Designers
Rather than a single event, LFC is conceived as a cultural and professional ecosystem bringing together designers, institutions, media, embassies, and key players from the international fashion industry.
The initiative will take place during each Paris Women’s Fashion Week, offering multiple opportunities for emerging and established Latin American designers to present their work to an international audience.
Among the core elements of the program are a dedicated showroom showcasing Latin American designers, a conference day focused on emerging talents, and a series of networking gatherings designed to encourage dialogue between creatives, institutions, and industry professionals.
The ambition is not only to introduce new designers but to create lasting recognition for Latin American creativity within the global fashion landscape.
Dan Silva, founder of LATAM Fashion Circle Paris, adds:
“Latin American fashion is overflowing with unique expertise, powerful cultural histories, and distinctive aesthetic codes. Today, it is essential to offer it a platform in Paris, the fashion capital of the world, in order to promote its recognition, development, and contribution to the global fashion ecosystem.”
A Launch During Paris Fashion Week
The official launch will take place March 5, 2026, during Paris Women’s Fashion Week, with an inaugural dinner bringing together figures from both the Latin American and European fashion communities.
The event will be co-hosted by Nathalie Dufour, founder of the prestigious ANDAM Fashion Award and a key mentor to emerging designers for more than three decades, alongside Sofía Achával, founder of the brand ÀCHEVAL and a strong advocate for Latin American talent.
For its first major edition, the LATAM Fashion Circle showroom will open in Paris from October 1 to October 4, 2026, offering designers a strategic platform within the international fashion calendar.
Nathalie Dufour states:
“Designed as a platform dedicated to Latin American expertise and creative avant-garde, LATAM Fashion Circle Paris aims to highlight voices, techniques, and visions that are still underrepresented, and to open a dialogue between Latin American designers and the international scene.”
A Cultural Dialogue Between Continents
Latin American fashion is rich in heritage, storytelling, and craftsmanship. From vibrant textiles to powerful cultural narratives, designers across the region draw inspiration from deep histories while pushing contemporary design forward.
LATAM Fashion Circle Paris aims to create a bridge between these creative traditions and the global fashion industry.
By positioning Latin American design within Paris – the world’s fashion capital – the initiative invites a new conversation about influence, identity, and cultural exchange.
Because fashion, at its best, is not just about clothing.
It is about voices.
And Paris may soon be hearing many more of them.
