Mediterranean Minimalism
The renovation was entrusted to internationally acclaimed studios Lázaro Rosa-Violán, Fabiano Continanza, and De Palacios, whose collective vision translates into a refined interpretation of warm minimalism.
Bathed in Mediterranean light, the interiors reveal a harmonious interplay of natural materials, soft textures, and fluid spatial transitions. Custom oak furnishings, curated artworks, and tactile textiles create an atmosphere of serene sophistication, while a palette of stone, wood, and neutral tones evokes a timeless sense of calm.
Lázaro Rosa-Violán reimagined the reception areas and suites, Fabiano Continanza oversaw the transformation of the spa and hydrotherapy facilities, and De Palacios redesigned the SHA boutiques, integrating discreet technology and sustainable solutions throughout the project.
Spanning over 930 square meters, the renovation showcases materials from leading Spanish manufacturers such as Porcelanosa and Cosentino, reflecting both an unwavering commitment to quality and a celebration of local craftsmanship.
A Sensory Journey Through Water and Light
At the heart of the transformation lies the reinvention of the spa and hydrotherapy spaces – conceived as a seamless sensory journey. Designed by Fabiano Continanza, the 300-square-meter aquatic circuit integrates a grand pool, swimming corridor, sauna, hammam, and thermal relaxation areas within a unified architectural vision.
Inspired by longevity principles, the circuit follows a meticulously orchestrated sequence based on thermal contrasts. Alternating hot and cold therapies stimulate circulation, encourage regeneration, and enhance vitality. Water, light, and temperature converge to create a deeply restorative experience, where architecture itself becomes an instrument of healing.
Design Meets Longevity
Beyond the spa, the suites have been reimagined to optimize sleep and recovery. Natural materials, circadian lighting, and integrated technologies are calibrated to align with the body’s biological rhythms, fostering an environment that is both intuitive and profoundly rejuvenating.
Gardens, terraces, and panoramic views dissolve the boundaries between interior and landscape, allowing nature to become an integral part of the wellness journey. The result is an atmosphere of effortless harmony – an embodiment of SHA’s holistic philosophy.
